Ultimate All-Ages Family Event Set for Sunday, June 7 in Centralia, Illinois

CENTRALIA, Ill. (March 24, 2026) – Castle Ridge will transform into a high-energy pop culture playground Sunday, June 7, as the K-POP DEMON HUNTERS FAN FEST brings an interactive, family-friendly entertainment experience to Southern Illinois.

Early entry begins at 1 p.m., gates open at 1:30 p.m., and the show starts at 2:30 p.m. CT.

Blending the global energy of K-pop with the excitement of the Demon Hunters universe, the event is designed as an immersive, all-ages experience packed with music, dance, and fan engagement.

More than thirty-five years after Travis Tritt launched his music career, the Southern rock-influenced artist continues to sell-out shows and stay true and relevant to country music fans across the globe. Continuously performing shows and withholding a heavy appearance schedule, Tritt is proving to be unstoppable.

The highly abbreviated Tritt timeline started when the young Marietta, Georgia native incorporated his lifelong influences of Southern rock, blues and gospel into his country during a honky-tonk apprenticeship that led him to Warner Bros. in 1989. Over the course of a decade, Travis released seven studio albums and a greatest hits package for the label. His 1990 debut Country Club and its succession of hits put him in the vanguard of the genre’s early ’90s boom, dubbing him as one of “The Class of ‘89,” which included country music superstars Garth Brooks, Clint Black and Alan Jackson; all whom dominated the charts in the early ‘90s.

“Country Club,” “Help Me Hold On,” “I’m Gonna Be Somebody,” and “Drift Off to Dream” peaked at numbers two and three on the Hot Country Singles & Tracks charts; all which led for Tritt to win Top New Male Artist award from Billboard and the CMA Horizon Award (now known as the Best New Artist Award). Additionally, in 1991, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) marked Tritt’s debut album Country Club as certified platinum, then in 1992, the world-famous Grand Ole Opry extended an invitation for Tritt to become a member.

Two years after his debut, Travis’ sophomore album, It’s All About to Change, was released. Literally speaking, this album changed everything when the album shipped three million copies and all four of its singles reached the top five on the country music charts. Along with his first album, this release became triple-platinum certified by the RIAA.

At the same time, his conspicuous lack of a cowboy hat and musical assertiveness set him apart. The next series of albums, seven of which are certified platinum or higher, scored him more hit

singles and led him to amass more than 30 million in career album sales, two Grammys, three CMA Awards and a devoted fan base that has filled venues coast-to-coast.

He’s been a force in sports appearances, having performed at the 1996 Olympics, two Super Bowls, a World Series Game, the opening of the Georgia Dome, the final Braves game at Atlanta-Fulton Country Stadium and, in 2013, the NCAA men’s basketball championship.

In 2012, Tritt formed his own label, Post Oak Recordings and shortly after released his album, The Calm After… In 2016, Tritt released a new project, a special live 2-disc CD and DVD, titled A Man and His Guitar – Live From The Franklin Theatre. The release shot and recorded at the historic Franklin Theatre in Franklin, Tenn., spotlights Tritt’s distinctively soulful voice and his exceptional guitar prowess in an intimate theater setting.

In late 2014 and throughout 2015, Tritt’s compilation album, Very Best of Travis Tritt, that was originally released in 2007, saw a sales resurgence as it topped the SoundScan Top 200 Catalog Country Albums chart for over 60 consecutive weeks with 15 weeks spent at No. 1 and 35+ weeks notched in a Top 5 position, while earning RIAA certified gold status by selling over 500,000 copies. The 20-track album features some of Tritt’s biggest hits, including “It’s A Great Day To Be Alive,” “Here’s A Quarter,” and “Anymore.”

Travis Tritt made a significant appearance in 2018 on the music series “Real Country,” alongside the renowned Shania Twain and Jake Owen, illuminating the screens with their collective expertise as they handpicked emerging solo artists, duos, and groups, showcasing the diverse traditions and themes of country genres on the USA Network.

Fast forward to 2022, Tritt unveiled Set In Stone, a much-anticipated, original full-length studio album. Join us for the inaugural Blues Fest at Castle Ridge on Saturday, April 11^th, 2026.  This event will headline Albert Cummings with special guests Cat Daddy’O and Kingdom Brothers.

Albert Cummings is an American blues guitarist, singer, and songwriter whose commanding guitar work and soulful vocals have made him a standout in the contemporary blues scene. Born and raised in Massachusetts, Cummings developed a deep passion for music at an early age, beginning on the banjo and bluegrass before being captivated by the electric blues influences of legends such as Stevie Ray Vaughan, B.B. King, and Jimi Hendrix.

Although trained as a builder and master carpenter, Cummings’ musical path took shape with his first public blues performance in the late 1990s and his debut album, The Long Way, released independently in 2000 with his band Swamp Yankee. His dynamic fusion of blues, rock, and storytelling soon drew attention. When members of Vaughan’s former rhythm section—bass legend Tommy Shannon and drummer Chris Layton—volunteered to play on his 2003 solo debut From the Heart, the blues world took notice.

Signing with the revered blues label Blind Pig Records, Cummings released albums such as True to Yourself (2004) and Working Man (2006), the latter cementing his reputation as a touring force and recording artist of significant range and impact. Over the years, he has shared stages with blues luminaries such as B.B. King, Johnny Winter, and Buddy Guy, further broadening his musical reach.  In his later work, Cummings continues to evolve. Albums like Believe (2020) and TEN (2022) showcase a deeper sonic palette while remaining rooted in the soul of the blues. His most recent release, Strong (2024), debuted at #1 on the Billboard Blues Chart, further underscoring his status as a modern torchbearer for the genre and a master craftsman of heartfelt, high-energy blues.

Cat Daddy’O is the kind of hard-working band that epitomizes the soulful stylings of old-school rhythm and blues.  Described by Nightlife as packing “a powerful punch with a hurt-so-good feeling”, this Southern Illinois blues trio rocks and rolls under the arrangement of 40-year Chicago blues veteran Johnny Shea (lead guitar) and a thundering rhythm section of Uncle Lou Thery (bass), Kyle Docherty (drums), formerly a staple in the Nashville music scene manning the kit for country star Jeremy Kent, and Omni recording artist Chris Thornton (saxophone/vocals).

Kingdom Brothers, a St. Louis, Missouri band, plays powerful original music that combines blues, R&B, and Gospel influences.  When blues veteran and Kingdom Brothers’ founder Bob Walther formed the group in 2005, he reached out to established area musicians who wanted to do something really different on the St. Louis music scene.  The group decided to concentrate on blues, R&B covers and originals that mostly have a positive message. The band demonstrates that, as the title of one of their songs states, “The Blues Don’t Have to Be Sad”.  This fresh approach was a bit risky, but has paid huge dividends for the band, attracting a large and devoted following in the St. Louis market. Kingdom Brothers were selected to represent the St. Louis Blues Society in the 2015 International Blues Challenge in Memphis, appearing in the semi-finals. The band continues to win over fans at each performance.
